Basic Determination – one time documentation of whether improved real estate is in a
FEMA special flood hazard area in an NFIP participating community

Life of Loan – basic determination with additional service designed to monitor and report
a change in flood hazard status for the term of the loan.

All include but are not limited to:

• community name and number
• zone
• panel and panel date (map information)
• FIPS code (standardized county code)
